DESCRIPTION:The Ladd Public Library will be hosting Cody Wells AKA The Lego
  Man of NYC on Saturday\, May 16 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Ladd Commu
 nity Center (303 S. Central Ave.\, Ladd\, IL). This program is designed fo
 r creative minds between 5 and ? years old. Build your original Lego creat
 ion alongside Cody working on his own. Prizes will be awarded by The Lego 
 Man of NYC himself!  This award-winning artist is one of the most sought 
 after custom Lego artists in the country. Cody's greatest joy comes from w
 orking with children. He works with schools\, libraries\, museums and priv
 ate clients nationwide leading classes\, giving talks\, and inspiring the 
 next generation of young minds.  This year he is traveling across the cou
 ntry\, visiting libraries and (along with creating original Lego creations
 ) encouraging young people to make reading a part of their Summer Break. W
 e're excited that we are able to make Ladd one of his 2 stops in Illinois.
