PRESCRIPTION PILL DRUG DISPOSAL PROGRAM

Residents are encouraged to use the Prescription Pill Drug Disposal Program (P2D2) to dispose of their unused or outdated prescription drugs.  A permanent P2D2 collection box is located in the Village Clerk’s office.  P2D2 is a collaborative effort between communities, local pharmacies, police departments, hospitals, city officials, students, and more.  The mission of the program is to provide communities with a proper method of pharmaceutical disposal that effectively reduces the misuse and abuse of pharmaceuticals, as well as, ensures the quality of our water and wildlife for future generations.
