The Ladd Public Library will be hosting Cody Wells AKA The Lego Man of NYC on Saturday, May 16 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Ladd Community Center (303 S. Central Ave., Ladd, IL). This program is designed for creative minds between 5 and ? years old. Build your original Lego creation alongside Cody working on his own. Prizes will be awarded by The Lego Man of NYC himself!  This award-winning artist is one of the most sought after custom Lego artists in the country. Cody’s greatest joy comes from working with children. He works with schools, libraries, museums and private clients nationwide leading classes, giving talks, and inspiring the next generation of young minds.  This year he is traveling across the country, visiting libraries and (along with creating original Lego creations) encouraging young people to make reading a part of their Summer Break.
